For repeat inspections, Hermann Träxler GmbH is certified in the production, repair, final acceptance and testing of draft tube mixers. In addition, our quality assurance system monitors the products from the development up to commissioning: This quality assurance is part of the ATEX certification of our draft tube mixers and it conforms to the requirement of the current ATEX Directive. This system is checked annually and certified through audits performed by the certification office competent for QA systems of TÜV Rhineland.

Explosion protection on equipment used in these environment means:
In principle all systems subject to monitoring must be inspected by competent monitoring bodies. For equipment, safety systems, control and regulating devices according to the ATEX Directive 94/9/EC (new: Directive 2014/34/EU) such as e.g. the draft tube mixer, BetrSichV permits that repair work and necessary tests are performed by
a) licensed monitoring bodies,
b) certified manufacturers or
c) a person, officially recognized as qualified by the competent government office
(Section 14 (6) BetrSichV)
The system operator is responsible for checking, whether the contractor fulfils these requirements. For this type of work, it is not sufficient to participate solely in a seminar to obtain the skills in explosion protection.
